I’ve been helping families and privately held businesses with their investment planning since 1990. I started James Harris & Company to focus on investment planning for private, family-held businesses and the people who operate them.
Over the three decades I’ve worked in investment planning, I’ve learned that serving family businesses requires more than a single advisor. That’s why my firm takes a family office approach, coordinating with specialists across legal, insurance, investment, estate, business, and tax disciplines to deliver well-rounded strategies.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®), and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA), I help clients evaluate every aspect of their financial lives. My multidisciplinary process spans wealth strategies, estate and legacy planning, tax management, family dynamics, and more.
An Albany resident for over 20 years, I’m actively involved in the community. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Cherie, and our daughters, as well as trips to 30A’s beaches and live music.

As an experienced, detail-oriented Financial Consultant, I have helped clients achieve their life goals while putting their minds at ease through careful planning strategies that appropriately manage risk. I look at all investment options and craft a long-term strategy, with tactical adjustments built in to meet various client objectives.
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration. I’ve spent more than 30 years in financial services, working with both large global firms and smaller, independent offices.
Outside of the office, I’m an active member of the Macon community. My wife, Meg, and I enjoy life with our three children: Emory, age 24; Caroline, 22; and Drew, 18.
As a Financial Consultant, I go beyond managing investments. I serve as a central point of contact who ensures every aspect of a client’s wealth plan works together seamlessly. I also bring a big picture vision to align financial goals with assets across the board, bringing clarity and cohesion where others may only focus on pieces of the puzzle. I deliver depth in areas such as estate planning strategies, retirement, trusts, and gifting strategies, providing clients with integrated solutions that anticipate long-term needs while addressing immediate priorities.
With over two decades of financial services experience, my career began at Sea Island Bank (now Synovus), where I worked as a teller and later a lending assistant, customer service representative and assistant branch manager and lender. After taking a break from my professional endeavors to focus on family, I joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Client Associate in 2014 and later accepted a position with the Divisional Governance team.
I’m a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. An active member of the Statesboro community, I currently serve as co-treasurer for the Statesboro Service League. Away from the office, I enjoy crafting, decorating and traveling. My husband, Mark, and I have two teenage daughters, Meredith and Reagan.

I’m the Senior Registered Branch Administrator at James Harris & Company, and I’ve been working in financial services since 2000. For more than 25 years, I’ve focused on helping clients with their administrative needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision, I play a central role in our day-to-day operations, from opening new accounts, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the smooth movement and transfer of funds. I’m committed to delivering impeccable service and overseeing clients’ financial journeys with efficiency and confidence.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University in Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in English and minors in Business Administration and Science. Each day I strive to deliver exceptional customer service and develop a positive long-term client relationship.
Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading a good book, and planting flowers.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, as a Senior Marketing Associate, I manage all aspects of marketing, event planning, research, and prospecting initiatives. I bring my strong organizational skills and strategic mindset to support our company’s growth and hone in on our clients’ success.
My career in the financial industry began in 2018 as a Client Associate at James Harris. I graduated from Albany State University in 2019 with an Associate of Science in Business Administration and earned a Bachelor of Business and Computing Degree in Human Resource Management from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2021.
An Albany native, I enjoy going to the beach with friends and family. At home, you’ll usually find me baking or spending time with my husband, Hunter, our daughter, Sloane, and our dogs.
